March 21st Negotiations Update

Dear Local 517 Members and Affiliates,

We wanted to provide a quick update following yesterday’s negotiations meeting.

While we have not officially reached a final deal yet, the negotiations team has seen enough movement to feel optimistic. We have reached a point where the Washington County’s team is taking our remaining priorities to the Commissioners for review in a private session. And because we are at a sensitive stage in these talks, we are being cautious with specific details to ensure nothing "torpedoes" the progress we’ve made.

In the meantime, the team is exhausted but incredibly motivated by your support. We are looking forward to seeing every one of you at the rally this Tuesday, March 24th at 8am at the Stillwater Government Center. Your presence and your voices are exactly what we need to bring this across the finish line. And if you haven't signed our petition yet, we highly encourage you to do so.
